As we look to open our business to tours, we have put new procedures in place to minimize the risk to both you and our staff.
Staff are all trained in safety procedures and are professionals. We ask that they self-screen daily and let us know as soon as possible if they run a fever over 100’F and develop a cough or other symptoms of COVID-19. Staff will call as soon as any symptoms present and will NOT come to work if they are running a fever or have other symptoms
Any guests exhibiting symptoms the day of their tour will be rescheduled, get a gift certificate, or receive a refund. They will not be allowed on the boat.
If anyone in your group has experienced symptoms in the last 14 days, please reschedule or cancel your reservation. Our standard cancellation policy is three (3) days, but if anyone in your party becomes ill within that period, please let us know. We will be happy to reschedule, offer a gift certificate, or issue a refund.
We fully understand how you will be looking for safe family adventures that are both fun and educational. As a family-run business, we want to offer a fun time while making it safe for both your party and our and staff.
Upon reopening, all of our tours will be private, but this will be re-evaluated continuously. This means that only trips of people that book together will be run. We have adjusted our rates for private boats, so they may be more affordable.
Boats and gear shall continue to be thoroughly sanitized between tours. Our shop continues to use bleach as a sanitizing agent.
Our protocols are set by the Divers Alert Network and adhere to or exceed CDC guidance.
We wash all of our gear (masks, snorkels, vests, and wetsuits) in the CDC recommended 4:100 bleach solution (1/3 cup of bleach in 1 gallon of water with a contact time of 1 minute.)
We will clean the masks and snorkels after each trip, and once again RIGHT before your trip to guarantee equipment sanitation. As always, if you have your own mask and snorkel, you are welcome to bring them.
Our facility is following safe sanitizing practices in our common areas and on indoor surfaces. Items such as counters, door handles, bathrooms, etc. will be sanitized regularly throughout the day. If available, we will be providing hand sanitizer for guests in our common areas.
We ask that all guests practice social distancing and respectfully offer space to other guests while in our shop. Please allow our captains, guides, and office staff to exercise social distancing.
Our Captains and Guides will be provided with face coverings and will wear them when interacting with other staff and guests. Visitors who prefer the protection of a mask and/or gloves will need to provide their own.
While in the water, we will cooperate with other tour companies and practice distancing while snorkeling. Keeping six feet between different tour groups should be enforced, and guests that do not comply will be asked to leave the water.
Pre-booking online with credit cards will minimize interaction. We are exploring online waiver execution.
